Travelling as an Unaccompanied Minor:
Kids between 5-12 years of age travelling on their own are considered and handled as an unaccompanied minor. Special arrangements are made to ensure the safety of junior travellers therefore it triggers in extra cost which is added in total price of ticket and must be paid before issuance of ticket. You must fill and submit details of the guardian who is handing over the child to Arik Air check-in staff and the one who is receiving at arrivals. A letter of consent and proof of ID may be required. Arik Air strictly check the details of guardians as well as child to stop every possibility of human trafficking as well as safety of your child. Unaccompanied Minors are taken cared by a crew member all the time inflight and a responsible staff member at the airport.
Disability and Mobility Assistance:
Physically challenged passengers are given an extra attention and care. You can put a wheelchair request when booking Arik Air flight or at-least 72 hours prior to departure. Although sufficient wheel chairs are available at the airport however battery operated wheelchairs are only available if booked beforehand. Arik Air staff can help carrying hand luggage, moving around your seats and surrounding area, take you to the washroom, and help eating your meal during your Arik Air flight. You are requested to have patience and allow sufficient time to arrange your needs during the busy period which may cause a potential delay. You may also be offered a fast track check-in service depending on the flight route you are travelling between.
